How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Started in building trades in high school. Went to collage for construction tech. Jim and John have a CGR (Certified Graduate Remodelor) with the NAHB. Jim started in the building trades in 1976. John started in the trade in 1967.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have a remodel showroom, better buying power than other contractors, full service contractor, 15carpenters in the field, we do are own work, don't sub-contract which gives us better control of jobs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
